By accessing or using Make My Book, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Account Registration

To use our service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

3. Content Ownership

You own your content. All books, outlines, and materials you create using Make My Book belong to you. We do not claim any ownership rights to your generated content.

You grant us a limited license to use your content solely for the purpose of providing our services (e.g., generating, editing, and exporting your books).

4. AI-Generated Content

Our service uses artificial intelligence to generate book content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may require human review and editing
• You are responsible for verifying accuracy and originality
• You must disclose AI usage when required by publishing platforms
• We do not guarantee that content is plagiarism-free (though we strive for originality)

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Make My Book to create content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights
• Contains hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempts to reverse-engineer or copy our service

6. Subscription & Payments

Subscription terms:

• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• You can cancel anytime; access continues until period ends
• Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with notice

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee:

• 100% uptime or availability
• Specific generation times
• Compatibility with all publishing platforms

8. Limitation of Liability

Make My Book is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Lost profits or business opportunities
• Content rejection by publishing platforms
• Indirect or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination:

• You can export your content for 30 days
• Unused subscription fees are not refunded (except as required by law)
• We may delete your data after 90 days

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Make My Book Inc. is registered.
